Kohlrabi stuffed

We need:

  • 3 large kohlrabi
  • 100 g chicken breast
  • Mushrooms (any) 100 gr.
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large tomato
  • Salt, spices taste
  • 150 ml cream
  • 900 ml tomato paste

Preparation:

  1. The washed kohlrabi should be cleaned as follows - cut off a small top and carefully clean the pulp so as not to break the skin, it should remain intact.
  2. Chop the flesh into smaller pieces and set aside. Boil the skins in salted water, 10-15 minutes will be enough, remove and leave to cool.
  3. For the filling, you need to chop mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, chicken fillets (you can cut them into small strips) and send them to fry in oil until half, or almost until cooked. Add spices, salt and mix with kohlrabi pulp.
  4. Next, you should fill prepared containers of skins with this filling, pour some of the cream, fold into a baking dish with a deep bottom.
  5. Cooking the sauce. Mix the tomato paste with the remaining cream, add the necessary spices and salt. Pour with kohlrabi sauce, they should be in it up to half. Close the tin with the stuffed cabbage tightly with foil and put in the oven, heated to 180 °, for 20, 25 minutes, after this time the foil can be removed and baked for another ten minutes.
