Instructions
Step 1
To save time on preparing various dishes, you can cook pilaf with mushrooms. This lean dish will be enjoyed by non-fasting family members.
First of all, we soak the rice in cold water, for 30-40 minutes. Then we drain the water and rinse the rice until the water becomes clear. We discard the rice in a colander or sieve and leave it for a while so that the water is glass, and the cereals are slightly dry.
Step 2
We wash the carrots, peel and rub on a medium grater. If you don't like grated carrots, you can cut them into small strips. Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes. Peel and rinse the garlic.
Step 3
We wash the champignons, if necessary, remove the darkened areas, and cut into thin slices. If the mushrooms are very large, then in arbitrary pieces.
Step 4
Pour sunflower oil into a thick-walled cauldron or deep frying pan, spread the mushrooms, cover and simmer over low heat for 3-5 minutes so that the mushrooms give juice. Add carrots, onions, salt and seasonings, stir and simmer for another 5 minutes. Then pour the rice, mix and fill with hot water so that it covers the rice by 2 fingers. Add heat and cook pilaf without a lid until the water is flush with the rice. Stir the pilaf, put not chopped garlic cloves in it. Reduce the gas again and cook the dish until tender.
