Anything can happen. You come home from work, open the bread bin, and you see a stale loaf in it. Or half a loaf. Run to the store? And if you run far, and the family demands dinner? There is a way out - to soften the stale bread. A few simple procedures, and for dinner you have a fresh, fragrant bread.
It is necessary
-
- bread;
- water;
- a saucepan with a lid;
- metal sieve;
- microwave;
- lid for microwave oven.
Instructions
Step 1
Method one. Cut the bread into portions. Spread the slices on a baking sheet, sprinkling each with water. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place a baking sheet of bread in a preheated oven for 2-3 minutes. Remove the softened pieces and serve immediately.
Step 2
A variation of the first method is "steam bath". Use a saucepan and a regular metal sieve. Pour a quarter of ordinary water into a saucepan and put on fire. When the water boils, place a sieve on top of the pan, and put the sliced bread in it. Cover this structure with a lid on top. The steam will refresh the bread. After 5-7 minutes of steaming, fresh and fragrant bread can be served at the table.
Step 3
Another way to "spice up bread" is to microwave it for 20 seconds. However, before you turn on the device, you need to cover the container with bread with a special plastic container-lid for microwave ovens.
