Thanks to the content of benzoic acid, cranberries can be stored for a long time without processing in cold water or frozen. It is necessary
- For dessert:
- - 150 g of cranberries;
- - a glass of powdered sugar;
- - 2 tablespoons of water;
- - 4 tablespoons of sugar
- For the test:
- - 1.5 cups flour
- - 2 table sugars;
- - 2 tablespoons of sour cream (20%);
- - 100 g butter (margarine);
- - 0.5 teaspoons baking powder
- To fill:
- - an egg;
- - a glass of cranberries;
- - a glass of sugar or powdered sugar;
- - 2 glasses of sour cream (20%);
- - 3 tablespoons of starch;
- - 0.5 teaspoons of vanillin

For dessert - cranberries in sugar, sift the powder. Rinse the berries, dry. Make a syrup with sugar and water.

Dip 20 berries each in the syrup, so that the berries are completely immersed in it. When taking out with a slotted spoon, wait for the syrup to drain.

Sprinkle the berries over the powder until the cranberries look like white lumps. Transfer the sugar-coated cranberries to paper. Dry for 30 minutes. Dessert is ready.

To make cranberry pie, grind softened butter with sugar and sour cream. Add baking powder and, adding flour in portions, knead the dough.

As a result, you should get an elastic dough. Having rolled out the dough into a disk, put it in a mold, previously covered with paper.

So, it will be easier to get the cake out of the mold. You can also bake the cake in a split form. Place the washed cranberries in a colander to drain the water.

Prepare the fill. Combine sour cream with sugar, add an egg, add vanillin with starch. Stir until smooth.

Place the berries on the dough. Pour the sour cream-vanilla mass over the cranberries. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 35-40 minutes.
