First of all, it should be said that this culture was one of the first to undergo genetic modification. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to confidently declare the safety of its use. Today, almost 90% of all corn is modified.

Maize grains are very irritating to the intestines and its mucous membranes. The human body perceives corn as gluten, which is a harmful wheat protein that causes various inflammations.

The composition of corn contains cellulose fiber, which is not able to normally be digested in the intestines. Only a very small dose of the nutrients of this product can be absorbed. Special proteins called lectins, which are extremely abundant in corn, are also not perceived by the human body as something useful and are not actually digested, being rejected to a greater extent.

Maize contains a huge amount of pesticides. To protect the plant from pests that are very fond of corn, it is treated with a variety of toxic substances that do not completely disappear even from the processed finished product. Once in the human body, such substances can not only cause poisoning, but also provoke the development of various painful conditions, and generally worsen the state of health.

Corn is categorically not recommended for people with increased blood clotting, a predisposition to blood clots or with peptic ulcer disease.

It must be remembered that this cereal is capable of causing a strong allergic reaction. Therefore, it is better for people suffering from this ailment to stop using it.

Think carefully before giving corn to children. Due to poor digestion, its use can lead to pain and bloating, as well as increased gas production.
