Tsakharajyn is one of the many national dishes of the Ossetian people. Ossetians have always been famous for their flat cakes and pies with various fillings. One of them is beet tops with cheese.

It is necessary

  • - green onions;
  • - dill;
  • - Adyghe cheese 150 g;
  • - sour cream 1, 5 tbsp;
  • - butter 50 g;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

For dough, dilute the yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, add a pinch of sugar and leave warm for 30 minutes. Then put salt, sugar and dough into the remaining warm water, stir everything and add flour. Knead a soft dough so that it sticks slightly to your hands. Cover it with foil, leave to rise for 2 hours.

For the filling, finely chop all the greens, grate the cheese, chop the butter, and mix everything with sour cream.

Take 1/3 of the dough, roll out the cake, put the filling on it and salt. Gather the edges of the tortilla into the center of the pie, tape over the center of the pie to make a stuffed tortilla. Turn the cake over, seam side down and flatten, making it a little flatter. Transfer to a baking sheet and make a small cut in the center.

Step 4

Bake in an oven preheated to 200 * C, first on the lower shelf for 5 minutes, and then on the upper shelf for 20 minutes until golden brown. Grease the finished pie with butter.
