There is an old saying: "Eat breakfast yourself, share lunch with a friend, and give dinner to the enemy." As modern research shows, this saying did not appear from scratch, and the diet is of great importance for the body.
Many people do not eat in the morning, arguing that the body has not woken up in the morning and does not feel like eating at all. And this is a big mistake. Breakfast is the healthiest of all meals. Everything eaten before ten o'clock in the morning is maximally absorbed by the body and processed into energy.
You just need to accustom yourself to breakfast, and preferably at the same time. In this case, the body adapts to the regime and will be ready at a certain time to fully work on the digestion of food and converting it into energy.
Studies have shown that people who eat breakfast have a more intense metabolism, which helps prevent obesity. Breakfast is absorbed as much as possible, so it should be approximately 50% of the total daily diet.
Lunch is considered one of the main meals and is very plentiful for many. However, you cannot eat too much for lunch, otherwise the feeling of hunger will arise closer to bedtime and dinner will be too late, and it is highly discouraged to have supper before bedtime.
At lunchtime, the body is not as active as in the morning, the digestive system does not work at its maximum level, the metabolism slows down, so lunch should be about 30% of the daily diet. Lunch time should also be fixed, the body develops a habit and normalizes the work of the gastrointestinal tract.
You need to have dinner with a minimum amount of food, 4-5 hours before bedtime. Moreover, the food should be easily digestible. During sleep, gastric secretion is completely absent, so a hearty dinner before bedtime can cause overstrain and depletion of the digestive glands. Well, it is extremely unfavorable to eat at night, especially interrupting sleep for a meal.
By the time you fall asleep, the food should be completely digested. In addition, a light dinner contributes to an adequate feeling of hunger in the morning, which will allow you to quickly get used to the diet.
A fixed time of meals and the distribution of its amount between these meals is very important for the normal functioning of the digestive system, and many diseases can be avoided.
Also, a prerequisite for a healthy diet is a slight feeling of hunger, which should remain after each meal, satiety, and even more so overeating are very harmful to the body.
