Convection oven is a very useful device. You can cook vegetables, fish or meat in it, and the dishes will turn out to be tasty and healthy. In the waves of hot air, the product quickly reaches readiness, retaining all the nutrients. Try to bake meat in foil or on a wire rack, barbecue or stir-fry with vegetables in pots.
Grilled beef
With the open method of baking, the meat acquires an appetizing crust. Choose cuts that are not too lean to make the dish more juicy.
You will need:
- 500 g of beef fillet;
- 0.5 lemons;
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard;
- salt;
- freshly ground black pepper;
- 5 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary.
Rinse the meat, dry it, remove the films and cut the beef into not too wide strips. Place them in a bowl. In a separate bowl with a tightly screwed lid, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, salt, freshly ground black pepper, mustard and crushed dried rosemary. Pour the mixture over the meat, stir and refrigerate for 6 hours.
Remove the beef from the marinade and place on a lightly oiled airfryer grill. Place a tray of hot water under the wire shelf. Roast the beef for 6 minutes at maximum fan speed and 265 ° C. Then reduce the fan speed to medium, lower the grill power to 230 ° C and bake the meat until tender. Serve the beef with fresh or pickled vegetables and fries.
Pork with vegetables in foil
Meat cooked in foil is especially tender and juicy, and vegetables will give it additional flavoring nuances. The set of products can be changed by adding garlic, bell peppers, zucchini or eggplant. If you want to reduce the calorie content of a dish, vegetables do not need to be fried.
You will need:
- 400 g of lean pork;
- 1 large carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 2 tomatoes;
- vegetable oil for frying;
- salt;
- freshly ground black pepper.
Rinse pork, remove films and excess fat. Cut the meat into narrow strips. Peel the onions and carrots. Chop the onion thinly, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry vegetables in a little heated vegetable oil. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin. Chop the pulp and add to the vegetables. Cook everything together until the excess moisture evaporates. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place vegetables on a large piece of foil, place the meat on top. Make several portioned rolls. Wrap each tightly and place on the grill of your Airfryer. Bake the meat for 30-40 minutes at medium fan speed and 260 ° C. Then gently unfold the foil and let the meat brown for another 3 minutes. Place the meat and vegetables on preheated plates before serving.
