To make carrot salad, take:

  • 200 g fresh carrots;
  • 1 medium orange;
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil;
  • 2 tbsp. l. nuts or peeled sunflower seeds (you can do without this ingredient).

The steps for making fresh carrot salad are as follows:

  1. Wash the root vegetable, remove the peel from it, grate on a coarse shredder.
  2. Wash the orange, peel, remove the seeds and cut the fruit into slices. If desired, peel the orange so that only one pulp remains, so the salad will turn out juicier and more tender, but if you do not want to mess around, then it is enough to remove only the zest.

  • Lemon juice to taste
  • 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise.

Steps for making carrot salad:

  1. Wash the carrots, peel, grate on a coarse shredder.
  2. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  3. Put the processed cheese in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, and then grate on a coarse grater. A slightly frozen product will rub well.
  4. Combine the prepared ingredients in a deep bowl, add the garlic passed through a press, stir the products.
  5. Season the fresh carrot salad with mayonnaise, stir, add salt and lemon juice to taste. Let the dish stand for 5 minutes and serve.
