Catfish is delicious on its own, and baked in the following way will be an excellent option for lunch or dinner. The fish dish turns out to be tender, juicy, with a pleasant aroma. It will also take a worthy place on the festive table.

- • Catfish - 1 kg;
- • White cabbage - 1 kg;
- • Dried mushrooms - 20 g;
- • Butter - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- • Onion - 1 head;
- • Sour cream - 100 g;
- • Sugar, spices.
Instructions
Step 1
Gut the catfish carcass and wash. Dry with napkins. Make cuts on the back of the fish, salt and pepper. Fry lightly on both sides.
Step 2
Put the dried mushrooms to cook. After cooking for an hour, remove the mushrooms, save the broth. Chop the mushrooms and fry.
Step 3
Chop white cabbage. Place in a dish for stewing. Pour mushroom broth, add oil and cook for half an hour.
Step 4
Peel and chop onions, sauté a little. Transfer to cabbage, adding bay leaves, salt, pepper mixture, sugar. Continue simmering until tender.
Step 5
Coat a baking dish with oil. Put cabbage on the bottom, fish on top of it, then mushrooms, and pour sour cream all over. Put in the oven.
Step 6
Serve on a platter with boiled young potatoes.
