It is necessary

  • -150 g cabbage
  • - 3 medium carrots,
  • - 100 g of thick tomato juice,
  • - 200 g of champignons,

  • - butter,
  • - a few leaves of basil (or a pinch of dried basil if there is no fresh one),
  • - seasoning for meat,
  • - margarine,
  • - olive and sunflower oil for frying,
  • - salt,
  • - pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the champignons into large pieces and fry in butter with meat seasoning until tender.

Step 2

Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, mix with the cabbage, salt and pepper, fry for 5 minutes. in olive and sunflower oil, mixed in equal amounts. Chop the basil very finely, mix with tomato juice, add sugar and pour the resulting sauce over the cabbage.

Step 3

Simmer the cabbage in the sauce until tender. Do not cover with a lid so that excess liquid evaporates. Add mushrooms to cabbage, mix. Serve hot or cold, best with grilled sausages and sausages.
