Cabbage and potatoes - we eat them almost every day and rightly so, because it is always healthier to eat what is grown near home, in a familiar climate and was included in the diet of your distant ancestors. Plus, these vegetables can be cooked very tasty.

- For stewed cabbage with vegetables:
- 1 kg of white cabbage;
- 300 g of champignons;
- 200 g carrots;
- 500 g of tomatoes;
- 200 g potatoes;
- 100 g bell pepper;
- 100 g lard;
- 100 ml of vegetable oil;
- salt;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- ground black pepper;
- dill and parsley
- Bay leaf;
- 1 clove of garlic.
- For stewed cabbage with potatoes:
- 600 g cabbage;
- 4 potatoes;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- a bunch of dill;
- 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
- 2 bay leaves;
- 1/3 tsp black pepper;
- 1 glass of water;
- salt
- sunflower oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Stewed cabbage with vegetables
Wash and finely chop the cabbage, peel the carrots, wash and grate on a coarse grater, wash the mushrooms and cut into thin slices, peel the potatoes, wash and cut into cubes. Peel the bacon, remove the skin and chop finely, put it in the pan and fry it, then put it in a stewing container.
Step 2
Wash the tomatoes and cut into cubes, pour a little vegetable oil into the pan and put the tomatoes, simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly, put the chopped cabbage in the pan, stir, fry and transfer to the roasting pan.
Step 3
Add vegetable oil to the pan, fry the carrots, transfer to the roasting pan, top with the chopped potatoes. Fry the mushrooms and also send them to the roasting pan.
Step 4
Pour about a glass of water into the frypot, add chopped garlic, bay leaves, ground pepper, salt and one teaspoon of sugar, stir and put to simmer with a lid on the frypot. Simmer for about 20 minutes, sprinkle the finished dish with chopped dill and parsley.
Step 5
Stewed cabbage with potatoes
Peel and wash onions, potatoes, carrots. Cut the potatoes into slices, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion. Chop the cabbage finely and place it in a roasting pan with a little sunflower oil. Place the broiler on high heat and saute until the cabbage is browned.
Step 6
Add tomato sauce diluted with water, add potatoes. Stir thoroughly, pepper, salt and simmer for about ten minutes.
Step 7
Fry carrots and onions in a skillet until golden brown, transfer to cabbage and potatoes. Add bay leaves, black pepper, and crushed garlic to the mixture. Simmer for ten minutes, until potatoes are cooked, add chopped dill and let sit for about five minutes.
