The benefits of stewed cabbage can hardly be overestimated. A large amount of vitamin C strengthens the immune system, B2 improves skin condition, PP protects blood vessels, fiber normalizes intestinal function. In combination with potatoes, it creates a nutritious dish for a lean table.
It is necessary
- 4 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 small onion
- half a head of cabbage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove of garlic
- a pinch of red hot pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- dill
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and rinse the vegetables. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage and chop finely.
Step 2
Cut the potatoes into thin slices, grate the carrots and garlic on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Pour half of the prepared vegetable oil into a hot pan. Add cabbage. With constant stirring, fry for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Step 4
Spread the onions and carrots in a separate skillet with the remaining oil.
Step 5
Reduce heat under the skillet with cabbage, add potatoes. Simmer for 20 minutes under a closed lid.
Step 6
Add sautéed carrots and onions and grated garlic to cabbage and potatoes. Season vegetables with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Bring the dish to readiness within 10 minutes. Serve with chopped dill.
