Delicious chicken roll can be an alternative to traditional cutlets, especially if you don't have time to be at the stove long enough. Looks festive.
It is necessary
- - Minced chicken - 500 gr.
- - onions (large) - 2 pcs.
- - carrots - 1 - 2 pcs.
- - potatoes - 1 pc.
- - garlic - 2 cloves
- - bread crumbs
- - vegetable oil for lubricating the mold
- Additionally:
- - cling film
- - a baking dish or frying pan.
Instructions
Step 1
If you use ready-made minced meat, even if it has not been frozen, there is a lot of water in it. You can put it in a colander, which you place over an empty container, let the excess liquid drain. Or add breadcrumbs, semolina, bread to the minced meat so that they absorb the liquid. Pork or ground beef is a different problem - they are dry, and you need to add bread soaked in milk or water, or just a little water, and mix well. Peel the onion, garlic, raw potatoes and grind through a meat grinder along with the minced meat. Add salt and spices. Focusing on the thickness of the minced meat, add the breadcrumbs.
Step 2
The filling will be fried onions and carrots. You can simply simmer them in a little water in a skillet under the lid, remember to add salt and a tiny pinch of sugar if the vegetables aren't sweet.
Step 3
Spread cling film on the table, grease the side on which the minced meat will be located with vegetable oil. Spread it over the film in a layer of about 1 cm so that you have free edges of the film. Put the filling on it. Now, lifting the film, force the minced meat to close the filling. First from one side, then from the other. Transfer the resulting roll from the film to a baking sheet. Proceed carefully so that the roll does not fall apart. The roll can be greased with mayonnaise. Place it in a preheated oven for about 40 to 50 minutes.
