Shrimp cooked on the airfryer is an excellent, tasty and very sophisticated appetizer that will decorate any festive table, and will also become an excellent dish for beer. There are many of these recipes, but some of them can add a touch of sophistication to your meal.
Airfryer shrimps with mushrooms and dry vermouth
For this dish you will need the following ingredients: 1-1.5 kilograms of raw shrimp (both regular and royal ones are suitable), 5-6 cloves of garlic, a small bunch of parsley, a couple of spoons of soy sauce, 200-300 grams of fresh champignons, 4-5 teaspoons dry vermouth, some green onions and half a teaspoon of tabasco sauce.
Before placing in the airfryer, the shrimp must be cut, removing their heads and legs, leaving the shell and tail intact. But there is a little trick here: the contents of the shell can impart some bitterness to the dish, so you need to carefully open it with a knife and remove all the insides that are not needed in the final dish.
Parsley, onion and garlic must be chopped very finely in a separate bowl, add vermouth, tabasco and soy sauce to them, and then mix all the ingredients very thoroughly. In the resulting brine, you need to roll seafood well and place them in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. After this time, it is necessary to add mushrooms to the shrimps and mix all the ingredients again.
Then you need to spread a couple of layers of foil on which to place seafood and wrap the shrimps tightly, then check the foil for small holes through which a very valuable and tasty juice mixed with marinade can spill. Such a dish is prepared in an airfryer on a wire rack at a temperature of 200 ° C for only about 15-18 minutes, after which it can be served.
Shrimp kebabs
This recipe is no less sophisticated and impressive in appearance, but easier to prepare and the number of ingredients. You will need - already peeled king or tiger prawns (ordinary ones will not work, since they will be difficult to string on skewers), salt and lime or lemon juice. It is also necessary to pack wooden skewers, but not plastic ones, which can impart extraneous odors to the finished dish.
After that, you need to string the shrimp on skewers, alternating with slices of citrus fruits, salt and place tightly on the grill of the airfryer, where they will cook for 6-8 minutes with the temperature set to 200 ° C, and ventilation at medium speed.
If desired, the shrimp can be marinated a little in soy sauce with garlic or replaced with peeled grapefruit pulp for lime and lemon, but you should not take overripe fruit for cooking, as it can crumble right in the airfryer, and the shrimps will not get its juice.
