It is necessary

  • -100 g of processed cheese;
  • -50 g butter;
  • -1 PC. salted herring;
  • -1 beets;
  • -2 eggs;
  • -1 baguette;
  • -1 sour apple;
  • -3-5 pickled cucumbers (pickles or gherkins);
  • - a bunch of greens.

Instructions

Step 1

From the listed ingredients, prepare the salad "Herring under a fur coat in a fur coat". Prepare stuffing products. Boil the eggs and beets ahead of time to keep them cold, then peel them. Chop the greens finely. Fillet the herring: remove the skin, select the bones. There is no desire to mess with herring, buy a ready-made fillet.

Step 2

Grate eggs on a fine grater, add butter and melted cheese. Mix everything thoroughly. Set aside two-thirds of this mixture and add chopped dill there. Add grated beets and apple to the remaining third. You can do without an apple, but it makes the salad more tender.

Step 3

Cut the loaf lengthwise, select the crumb and fill with the filling. Put beets, herbs, then eggs and cheese in the first half. Place whole cucumbers and uncut herring fillets on the second half of the baguette.

Step 4

Connect the halves, coat the joint seams with butter. Wrap the loaf tightly with cling film and send it to the refrigerator for an hour and a half so that the filling is compressed. Then cut the loaf across, into 1, 5-2 cm thick pieces, and place on a dish. Decorate with sprigs of parsley and dill. All guests will appreciate such an original serving of the “Herring under a fur coat” salad.
