Many children and adults love curd casserole for breakfast or dinner. After all, it is healthy, nutritious and has a pleasant taste. It can be prepared in several ways, such as in the microwave and multicooker. But it turns out to be the most delicious in the oven. And the most tender - with the addition of semolina.

It is necessary

  • - kefir with a fat content of 1% - 1 glass (250 ml);
  • - semolina - 0.5 cups - 100 g;
  • - sugar - 0.5 cups - 100 g;
  • - chicken eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • - cottage cheese - 0.5 kg;
  • - lemon - 0.5 pcs.;
  • - baking powder - 1 sachet;
  • - vanillin or vanilla sugar - 0.5 tsp;
  • - salt - 1 pinch;
  • - mixer;
  • - submersible blender (if any);
  • - baking dish;
  • - butter for lubrication.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour the semolina into a large bowl and fill it with room temperature kefir. Stir and let sit for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Break cold chicken eggs, separating the whites from the yolks. Pour the egg whites into a clean, dry bowl and beat them together with half the sugar until persistent white peaks with a mixer at the highest speed. Then squeeze 1 tablespoon of juice from half a lemon, pour it into the sugar-protein mass and refrigerate for now.

In the meantime, mix the yolks with the curd, salt, remaining sugar, baking powder and vanilla. If the cottage cheese is with hard grains, it is most convenient to mix with an immersion blender or mixer. The mass should turn out to be homogeneous and have a pleasant slightly creamy shade.

Step 4

By this time, the semolina in kefir should already swell to the desired state. Add it to the curd mass and mix well.

Step 5

After that, remove the whipped proteins with sugar from the refrigerator and gently transfer them with a spoon or spatula into a bowl to the resulting curd-kefir dough. It is highly discouraged to use a mixer at this stage, so as not to destroy all the protein airiness.

Step 6

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. While it is warming up, grease the baking dish with butter and transfer the finished dough into it. Bake the product for 50-60 minutes.

Step 7

When the curd casserole with semolina is ready, remove it from the oven, let it cool slightly, and then cut into pieces and serve. If desired, you can offer jam or jam with her.
