Cottage cheese casserole is a popular type of pastry for breakfast, afternoon tea or tea. Taking into account the tendency of modern cooking to variability, we can confidently say that the classic recipe for cottage cheese casseroles is only the base, the basis for many others, which additionally include a wide variety of ingredients: berries, candied fruits, dried fruits, spices, herbs, etc. Cottage cheese casserole with semolina and banana is one of the most successful recipes.
Casserole "Delicate"
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 400 g;
- chicken egg - 1 pc.;
- banana - 2 pcs.;
- semolina - 2 tablespoons;
- premium flour - 1 tbsp;
- vanillin - 1 sachet;
- granulated sugar - 3-4 tablespoons;
- sour cream - 2 tablespoons;
- butter - 30 g (2 tablespoons);
- salt - ¼ tsp;
- vegetable oil - 2 tsp
For this recipe, take cottage cheese 18% fat, then the casserole turns out to be really tender. If you bought lower fat cottage cheese, double the amount of sour cream.
Take a bowl, put the cottage cheese in it and mash with a fork and half the total amount of sour cream, or mix in a blender. Add 1 tbsp. butter softened or melted in a water bath. Pour in semolina, flour. Peel the bananas, grate them on a coarse grater (this recipe allows for the use of sliced bananas) and add to the curd. For a slightly overripe banana, you can simply mash it with a fork. Whisk the egg with salt, vanilla and granulated sugar and place in a bowl as well. Now mix everything gently.
Lubricate a baking dish with vegetable oil, sprinkle a little semolina on the bottom (this will make it easier to get the finished casserole later) and put the curd mixture in it. Smooth with a spoon. Combine the remaining sour cream and butter and brush the future casserole with this mixture. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and bake for 30 minutes.
Attention! - never try to remove a hot casserole from the mold. It can just fall apart before your eyes. Let it cool slightly in the mold, then you can take it out without any problems and easily cut it into portions.
Before serving, you can pour the cottage cheese with fruit syrup, condensed milk, and if you want the maximum benefit from the dish, serve with low-fat sour cream.
Casserole "Banana Miracle" in a slow cooker
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese 9% fat - 600 g;
- chicken egg - 3 pcs.;
- banana - 3 pcs.;
- semolina - 3 tablespoons;
- vanillin - 1 sachet;
- granulated sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- white chocolate - 100 g;
- milk - 2 tablespoons;
- salt - 1/3 tsp;
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Soak the semolina in milk and let it swell (this will take 15-20 minutes). In the meantime, beat the eggs, granulated sugar and salt in a blender. Add cottage cheese, swollen semolina and beat until smooth. Prepare bananas: peel them and cut into 0.5 cm thick slices. Grate chocolate on a fine grater.
Lubricate the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and lightly sprinkle with semolina. Put half of the mixture in it. Place banana slices on top, leaving some for decoration. Sprinkle the grated chocolate over the bananas, also leaving some for garnishing. Spoon the rest of the curd mixture, flatten with a spoon. Close the bowl with a lid, turn on the "Baking" mode, set the time - 40 minutes. When the end signal sounds, put the multicooker in the "Preheat" mode (in most appliances, this mode turns on automatically after the end of cooking) and leave the casserole for another 20 minutes. Then open the lid and let the casserole cool slightly. Then take out, place on a platter, garnish with banana slices and grated chocolate on top.
