Squid is a very healthy and, of course, delicious seafood. That is why all the new dishes are constantly appearing with him. You can make a wide variety of seafood dishes, but stewed squid is especially useful.

- 800 grams of squid;
- 2 onions;
- 300-400 grams of sour cream;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- 1-2 tablespoons of sautéed flour;
- vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the outside and inside of the squid and remove the chord. To do this, pour boiling water over the frozen squid carcass. The film that covers the tender squid meat will curl up and can be easily removed by hand. Leave the squid carcasses to thaw at room temperature. It is better not to use the microwave so that the seafood will leave a pleasant taste. Pour the defrosted product with boiling water for 3 minutes. The cartilage along the length of the squid can be cut out neatly with a knife. The squid carcass is ready for further processing.
Step 2
Cut the squid into strips or rings. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the chopped squid in a preheated skillet and sauté them over medium heat.
Step 3
Pour flour into a dry frying pan and fry until golden brown.
Step 4
Place the fried onions on the bottom of the saucepan and the fried calamari on top.
Step 5
Dilute sour cream with water. Pour squid with onions with it (leave a small amount of sour cream to dilute the flour), pepper and salt again to taste, mix and cover, leaving to simmer for 20-25 minutes over low heat. Add the sautéed flour mixed with sour cream.
Step 6
Serve cooked squid with any side dish, such as mashed potatoes or rice, which are very tasty. Use herbs for decoration.
