A one-year-old child can already be given whole eggs. But until the baby has learned to chew well, an omelet is the best solution. This light and hearty dish can be prepared in several ways.

It is necessary

    • For steam omelet:
    • 2 eggs;
    • 2 tbsp milk;
    • 1 tsp salt solution;
    • a piece of butter.
    • For the apple omelet:
    • 2 eggs;
    • 1 apple;
    • 1 tsp butter;
    • powdered sugar.
    • For natural omelet:
    • 4 eggs;
    • 50 ml of milk;
    • 1 tsp salt solution;
    • 1-2 tbsp butter.

Instructions

Step 1

Steam omelet: Separate the whites from the yolks and beat them into a foam using a mixer. Mix the yolks with the milk, add the whipped whites and pour this mass into a greased deep mold. Prepare a water bath. To do this, dip the filled form into a large pot of water. Cover with a lid and heat the mixture until thickened. Transfer the finished omelet from the mold to a plate and serve.

Step 2

Apple Omelet Beat the eggs. Peel and cut the apple into thin slices. Melt the butter in a skillet and simmer the sliced apples in it. Pour in the beaten eggs and fry, stirring all the time to prevent a hard crust underneath. While serving, fold the omelet in half and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Step 3

Natural omelet Beat eggs with a fork so that the yolk and white are well mixed, then add cold milk and salt solution (a pinch of salt diluted with 2 tsp water). Preheat a frying pan and dissolve the butter on it, let it boil. Pour out the beaten mass and fry over medium heat, rotating the pan by the handle. Once the omelet has thickened, gradually fold it in with a thin knife from the edges to the middle, shaping it into an oblong pie. Transfer the finished omelet to the warmed dish seam down, cut into portions.
