The benefits of cereals have long been known. The protein contained in cereals is well absorbed by the body. In addition, they are rich in carbohydrates, which makes porridge a source of energy. Milk porridges are irreplaceable in baby food.
Children's porridge with fruit
To prepare oatmeal, which children will surely enjoy, you will need:
- 1 glass of oatmeal;
- 1 glass of milk;
- 1 glass of water;
- 50 g of cottage cheese;
- 1 banana;
- 1 apple;
- 1 pear;
- 2 tbsp. l. butter;
- 2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- salt.
Bring water and milk to a boil separately. Then pour oatmeal into boiling water, add salt, granulated sugar and, stirring, cook for 5 minutes. Then pour in the hot milk and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
Add cottage cheese and butter, grated through a sieve, into the porridge. Mix everything well. Wash the apple and pear thoroughly, and peel the banana. Cut the fruit into thin slices, mix with the oatmeal and serve.
Semolina porridge with cranberry sauce
To cook a healthy and tasty semolina porridge, you need to take the following ingredients:
- ½ cup semolina;
- 2 glasses of milk;
- 2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar;
- salt.
For cranberry sauce:
- 60 g of cranberries;
- ¾ glass of water;
- 1 tbsp. l. potato starch;
- 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- zest of 1 orange.
First of all, bring the milk to a boil, add salt, vanillin and granulated sugar. Then add semolina in a thin stream and cook with stirring until thickened.
Make cranberry sauce. To do this, squeeze the juice from the cranberries, pour hot water over the pulp and cook for 3 minutes. Then strain the prepared broth, combine with granulated sugar, add squeezed cranberry juice and grated zest of one orange on a fine grater. Bring everything to a boil and pour in the potato starch diluted in a little cold water in a thin stream. Cook the sauce for another 5 minutes and remove from heat.
When serving, pour over milk semolina porridge with vitamin sweet and sour cranberry sauce.
"Chocolate" porridge
To prepare rice porridge for little sweet tooth according to this recipe, you will need:
- 200 g of rice;
- 1 ½ glass of milk;
- 2 glasses of water;
- 2 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 100 g of sugar;
- 50 g of heavy cream;
- 50 g of chocolate;
- salt.
Sort the rice and rinse. Boil water, add salt, add prepared rice and cook for 10 minutes. Then pour in the boiled milk and cook the porridge until thickened.
Then add cocoa powder and sugar. Mix everything well and cook for another 5 minutes. Then put the rice porridge in oiled tins and refrigerate.
Whip the heavy cream with a mixer to a thick foam. When serving, place the "chocolate" porridge on a platter, decorate with whipped cream and chocolate pieces.
