Children are little caprice, who always have their own opinion about food. It is easy to please the "reluctance": it is enough to turn food into a game. Naughty dog buns with a sausage inside can be a great snack during outdoor picnics or a complete homemade dessert.

Children's recipes: sausage in the dough in the form of a dog

It is necessary

  • - wheat flour 450 g
  • - egg 1 pc.
  • - yeast for baking 10 g
  • - sugar 100 g
  • - sausages 6 pcs.
  • - milk 100 ml
  • - water 50 ml
  • - vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.
  • - salt (pinch)
  • - olives (10 pcs.)
  • - hard cheese 100 g
  • - canned green peas
  • - parchment paper for baking

Instructions

Step 1

Turn the oven 180 degrees to preheat. Remove the baking sheet and cover it with a piece of baking paper.

Step 2

In a saucepan, combine milk, water and yeast. Place in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

When the yeast foams, add flour, beaten egg, salt and sugar. Knead the dough and leave in a warm place for half an hour.

Step 4

Put the finished dough on the table and knead, adding a little flour, until the dough stops sticking to your palms.

Step 5

Roll a sausage out of the dough and cut into thin slices. Roll out the layers so that they are slightly larger than sausages in length and width.

Step 6

Arrange the sausages in layers and pack on all sides. Form a small ponytail at the back of each shape by pulling the dough out.

Step 7

Roll small sausages from the rest of the dough and spread them across the future shape of the dog so that you get four legs and ears.

Step 8

Cut the cheese into slices and cut equal circles out of the slices. These will be the eye sockets of the dogs.

Step 9

Pull a little dough in the front to create a nose, and decorate the top with half an olive. Use halves of green peas as pupils: place them in the middle of the cheese eye-sockets.

Step 10

Bake the shaped buns for 25 minutes. Serve with cheese or onion sour cream sauce.

Step 11

The onion-sour cream sauce is prepared as follows: the peeled onion is boiled in a small plate. When the water boils, add salt and pepper to taste. In a separate cup in 100 ml of water, dilute 2-3 tbsp. l. sour cream and add 1 tbsp. l. flour. The resulting mixture is mixed with onion broth, brought to a boil (thickened) and allowed to cool.
