Immerse the cooled egg in the dye solution for a few minutes, then remove and let the dye dry. Cut a piece of tape so that it is the same length as the diameter of the egg. Cut one side of the duct tape in serrations or waves. Wrap the colored egg with tape.

Dip the bottom of the egg in a darker solution and hold for a few minutes. Take out, let cool and remove the tape.
Step 4
A dyed egg can be decorated very simply with the rest of the braid. Cut a piece to a length equal to the diameter of the egg. Wrap and sew the edges. The tape should adhere to the surface as tightly as possible.
Step 5
Another great way to make original colored eggs will really appeal to children. From multi-colored corrugated paper, cut out rabbit ears, green twigs, flowers, carrots and glue the parts with PVA glue to a pre-painted egg. With a felt-tip pen or marker, draw the faces of the animals and small details.
