If you want to make a healthy meal, wrap the ingredients in foil and place them in the hot oven. They will turn out to be soft, like when cooked, but they will not lose moisture and nutrients. Thus, you can cook almost any food, both individually and in certain combinations. Try baking poultry and potatoes, spiced meats, or diet fish.

Poultry with potatoes baked in foil

Ingredients:

- 700 g turkey or chicken thigh fillet;

- 1, 2-1, 5 kg of potatoes;

- 4-6 tbsp. mayonnaise;

- 100 g green onions;

- 0.5 tsp dried basil;

- 15-20 g of parsley;

- ground black pepper;

- salt;

- vegetable oil.

Wash the potatoes, peel them and cut into thick circles or semicircles. Salt the vegetable with 1 tsp. salt and stir with your hands. Cut the turkey or chicken fillets into small cubes and place in a tight container or bowl. Chop green onions, mix with mayonnaise, a pinch of black pepper and 0.5 tsp. salt. Pour the resulting sauce over the bird, cover it loosely with a lid or cling film and refrigerate. Marinate it for 1.5-2 hours.

Open the foil 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking to brown the dish, making it more appealing.

Take a deep heat-resistant form, line it with foil, coat with vegetable oil and fill with potatoes. Line the meat with the marinade in a second layer and distribute it evenly. Sprinkle everything with basil, cover with a second sheet of foil and place in an oven preheated to 230-250oC for 40 minutes. Determine the doneness over the potatoes, they should become soft. Garnish each serving with chopped herbs.

Meat baked in foil

Ingredients:

- 1 kg of meat (pork, lamb);

- 6 cloves of garlic;

- 2 tsp adjika;

- 1 tsp salt.

For baking in foil, choose a whole piece of meat that is free of veins, bones and muscles.

Rinse the meat thoroughly and cut it into 2 equal pieces with a sharp knife to shorten the cooking time. Rub them with salt on all sides, cut in several places and stuff with coarsely chopped garlic cloves. Spread the pieces with adjika and wrap each in a rectangle of foil very tightly so that there are no gaps. Let the bundles lie down for half an hour so that the contents are saturated with spices and give juice.

Preheat oven to 180oC and roast meat in it for 2-2.5 hours. Poke it straight through the silver paper with a fork. If the teeth of the appliance go inside quietly, then tear the foil, increase the temperature to 200oC and cook the dish for another 15-20 minutes until a crust is obtained.

Fish in foil

Ingredients:

- 1 fresh fish weighing 500-700 g;

- 1 lemon;

- 1 onion;

- a pinch of salt, dried rosemary, thyme, tarragon, saffron;

- vegetable oil.

To make the bones steamed during cooking and soften, make multiple cross-cuts on the back of the fish.

Cut the lemon in half and then cut it into thin semicircles. Clean the fish, remove the gills and entrails from it. Season with salt and spices, stuff with half a serving of chopped onions and cover with 1/2 citrus slices. Spread a double sheet of foil, sprinkle with oil, put a "pillow" of the remaining onion and lemon on it, place the prepared fish on top, wrap it well and place in a hot (180oC) oven for 1 hour.
