Alternatively, breading can be made from 200 g of cornflakes chopped in a food processor, to which 1 tsp is added. cinnamon and about 80-100 g of coconut.
A chilled portion of ice cream is quickly doused in coconut flakes, then dipped just as quickly in a beaten egg, and then doused in breadcrumbs. The last step - the egg and crackers, are repeated once more so that a dense crust forms on the ice cream during frying.
When using a cornflake breading, the sequence of actions is the same: a portioned piece of ice cream is rolled in the breading, dipped in a beaten egg and again rolled in a flake crumb.
After that, the ice cream is again placed in the freezer for 2-3 hours. The best result when preparing an unusual dessert is given by freezing each layer of batter separately. When the batter hardens a little, the most crucial moment comes: roasting.
In a heat-resistant dish, the odorless vegetable oil is heated to the boiling point. When frying, it is not recommended to cook several servings of ice cream at once - each slice should be fried separately.
A portion of ice cream in batter is dipped in oil and fried on each side for 15 seconds. After that, ice cream is placed on a plate cooled in advance and put into the freezer for 30-40 minutes.
Before serving, fried ice cream is kept at room temperature for some time. If this is not done, then it will be very difficult to bite off or cut off a slice of dessert with a knife.
