Milk foam is widely used in the preparation of various coffee-based drinks. It's hard to imagine a cappuccino or latte without this ingredient. It can also be consumed on its own.
Instructions
Step 1
Take medium fat milk. A fat content of three to six percent is perfect. Put it in the refrigerator and let it sit for a while (cold milk produces a much more stable and elastic foam than warm milk).
Step 2
Choose a whipping method. The simplest of them is to use the cappuccino maker, which is often equipped with coffee machines. Check the presence of pressure and steam in it, and only then proceed to work. If steam does not come out, check the water level in the special compartment.
Step 3
Fill a tall glass about a third full of milk, bring it to the switched on cappuccinatore and start slowly dipping it into the milk. Watch at what level its tip is. Never touch the bottom of the glass with them and do not keep liquids on the surface. In both cases, you will end up with spoiled milk froth that will settle quickly. While whipping, constantly turn the glass of milk in a circle.
Step 4
Use a mixer. Pour cold milk into a bowl to create froth. Dip the whisk into it and turn it on at minimum speed. After three seconds, switch the speed to maximum, and in ten to twelve seconds you will have perfectly frothed milk.
Step 5
Try whisking milk with a blender. In this case, the immersion option will not work for you. Pour the chilled milk into the blender jar (it is better to take a small amount) and turn it on at maximum speed for seven to ten seconds.
Step 6
Purchase a special milk frother. It is a small mixer and turns milk into froth in seconds.
