If you like casseroles, and are tired of the usual recipe, we suggest you a casserole made from rice and mushrooms. It also turns out tasty, fast and looks very appetizing. The main dish is easy to prepare. So even a child can handle it.

It is necessary

  • 200 grams of rice + 500 ml of water for boiling rice,
  • 150 grams of champignons (you can take other mushrooms, which you like more),
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil
  • 100 ml cream 10% fat,
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream 15%,
  • hard cheese for a beautiful crust - optional,
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1

Boil rice until tender. Salt the water.

Step 2

Finely chop the onion and fry in a pan, adding olive or sunflower oil. Cooking until transparent.

Step 3

Finely chop the mushrooms, add them to the onions, add a little salt and fry over low heat for 15 minutes, until the mushrooms are cooked.

Step 4

Pour cream over the mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes, while constantly stirring the mixture.

Step 5

Put some of the cooked rice into a special baking dish, slightly greased with olive oil. Put the creamy mushroom mixture on the rice. On top of the mushrooms - the remaining half of the rice.

Step 6

Cover the top of the casserole with sour cream, add shabby cheese. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown appears.
