It is necessary

  • - potatoes - 1 kg;
  • - egg - 1 pc.;
  • - sour cream - 2 tablespoons;
  • - smoked brisket - 200 g;
  • - hard cheese - 150 g;
  • - onion - 1 pc.;
  • - salt, pepper, turmeric, paprika - 0.5 teaspoon each.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, then remove the peel from its surface. Then place in a suitable bowl of water and place on the stove. Do not cook the vegetable until it is fully cooked - 10 minutes is enough.

Step 2

Remove the husks from the onion and cut into quarters. Then place in a skillet with sunflower oil and fry until golden brown. As soon as this happens, add smoked brisket, chopped into cubes, to it. Cook for 2 minutes, then season the fried mass with black pepper and paprika. Mix everything properly and remove to cool.

Step 3

Grind the cooled potatoes with a coarse grater. Do the same with cheese, then divide it into 2 parts and add one of them to the potato mass. Add one raw chicken egg, salt, turmeric and sour cream there. Mix everything until smooth.

Step 4

Line a baking dish with baking paper and place half of the potato mass on top of it. Add the remaining cheese to the smoked brisket and onion mixture. Mix everything well. Place the resulting filling in the next layer. Place the other half of the potatoes in the last layer.

Step 5

Send the potato terrine to bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.

Step 6

When the casserole is ready, remove it from the baking dish after chilling it. The potato terrine with smoked brisket is ready!
