Dumplings are a fairly hearty dish. Dumplings can be filled with meat or fish. We are used to the fact that dumplings are mostly round in shape and need to be boiled. Dumplings "Roses" are cooked on a vegetable pillow, and they look just wonderful.
You will need:
For the test:
- eggs 2 pcs.
- salt 0.5 tsp
- flour 300 g
For minced meat:
- beef 350 g
- pork 350 g
- onion 1 pc.
- greens
- egg
- salt and pepper to taste
For the vegetable pillow:
- carrots 1 pc.
- bell pepper 1 pc.
- onion 1 pc.
- zucchini 200 g
- tomato 2 pcs.
Preparation:
Cooking minced meat. Rinse the meat and cut into small pieces. Scroll meat, onions, herbs in a meat grinder. Add raw egg, salt and pepper. We mix everything.
We knead the dough. Break eggs, add flour and salt. We mix everything. Take a rolling pin and roll out the dough thinner. Then we cut the dough into strips of 10 centimeters. Put the minced meat on half of the strip. Fold the dough in half, then fold it into a roll, turning the ends inward. You should get a rose.
Now let's prepare the vegetable pillow. Cut the onion into half rings. Rub the peeled carrots on a fine grater. Cut the Bulgarian pepper, tomato and zucchini into strips. We take a frying pan and heat it with vegetable oil. Stew vegetables a little, salt and pepper.
We spread the roses on the vegetables and add a little water to the middle of the dumplings. Cover and simmer until tender.
