Greek pizza is a tasty and healthy dish that can be recommended for children as well, because it does not contain smoked products. The main ingredients here are chicken, aromatic olives, feta cheese, tomatoes and artichokes, complemented by the traditional Greek tzatziki creamy sauce.
It is necessary
- For pizza:
- - 1 base for pizza;
- - dzatziki sauce;
- 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- - 1 chicken fillet;
- - 1/2 tbsp. chopped olives;
- - 1/3 Art. chopped sun-dried tomatoes (or ordinary, preferably cherry);
- - 1 tbsp. artichokes (can be replaced with bell peppers).
- For the tzatziki sauce:
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of a mixture of Italian herbs;
- - 1/2 large cucumber, peeled and cut into half moons;
- - 1 package of Greek yogurt (if not available, you can replace it with very fatty sour cream);
- - 1/2 tbsp. sour cream;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of lemon juice;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of olive oil;
- - a pinch of salt.
Instructions
Step 1
For dzatziki sauce
Cut the cucumber into halves and place in a food processor bowl (you can use a blender) and chop for a minute. Drain off excess juice to prevent the sauce from getting too runny. Add garlic, Italian spices, Greek yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice, olive oil and salt to the cucumbers and chop again. The sauce should be creamy and with small pieces of cucumber.
Step 2
For pizza
Turn the oven on to preheat to 230 ° C. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and fry in a pan greased with vegetable oil for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Place the finished pizza base on a floured baking sheet. Brush with tzatziki sauce. Sprinkle the top of the pizza base with crumbled feta cheese and add the toasted fillet slices, chopped olives, tomatoes and artichokes (peppers). Bake for 15 minutes.
