Step 1

Step 2

When the butter is completely melted in the pan, begin to gently add wheat flour in small portions into it. Do not forget to stir the mixture continuously during this procedure - this way, you will get rid of unnecessary lumps.

Step 3

Combine granulated sugar with a glass of boiling water. Stir the resulting solution as it should, that is, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Gently add this syrup to the butter-flour mass. Cook the resulting mixture until its color turns golden. If you have a desire, then at this stage of preparation, you can add nuts chopped into small pieces to the future halva. Choose them at your own discretion.

Step 4

Put the resulting hot mass on free plates so that it lies in a thin layer. Azerbaijani halva is ready! Feel free to serve this delicacy to the table. Store dessert in the refrigerator.
