Meat balls according to this recipe are very unusual, because they are prepared with the addition of ground ginger in a sauce of tomato juice and pineapple. Boiled rice or potatoes are suitable as a side dish for meat balls.
It is necessary
- - 550 ml of thick tomato juice;
- - 500 g of fresh pineapple;
- - 450 g ground beef;
- - 120 g of sugar;
- - 120 g bread crumbs;
- - 1 onion;
- - 1 egg;
- - ground ginger, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onions, chop finely with a sharp knife. Add bread crumbs, ginger, half chopped onion to the ground beef, beat in an egg. Salt to taste, mix the minced meat well.
Step 2
Shape the minced meat into walnut-sized balls, place in a glass dish or microwave-safe container, cover with a lid. Put in the microwave, cook on medium power for 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Mix tomato juice with sugar, onion leftovers. Cut the pulp of fresh pineapple into small cubes, add to the juice, mix.
Step 4
Pour the meat balls with the resulting spicy sauce, mix gently - do not damage the balls. Cook for another 15 minutes at the same power. During this cooking time, the balls with the sauce must be taken out and gently mixed again. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
