Simple and affordable tomato sauce with a hint of honey.
It is necessary
- - Tomato (slightly larger than average) - 6 pcs.
- - Butter - 3 tbsp. l.
- - Ginger (fresh root) - 50 g
- - Parsley - 1/4 tbsp.
- - Honey - 1 tbsp. l.
- - Chili pepper - 1 pc.
- - Water - 1 tbsp.
- - Salt - 1 tsp.
- - Spices (to taste)
Instructions
Step 1
Making a dressing for the sauce. Peel the ginger. Chop the parsley, chili and ginger finely.
Step 2
Place everything in a blender. Add 30 ml of water. Grind until smooth.
Step 3
Add to the resulting mixture 1 teaspoon of salt, one tablespoon of honey and spices to taste. Mix everything well.
Step 4
Boil a saucepan with water, put the tomatoes there for 30 seconds. Drain hot water and pour cold water into a saucepan. Peel the tomatoes.
Step 5
Cut tomatoes into small pieces and place in a saucepan. Pour in one glass of water. Put on high heat, close the lid. Cook for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Pass the contents of the pan through cheesecloth or a sieve, kneading all the pulp that comes to you with a spoon, so that more juice is drained.
Step 7
Melt three tablespoons of butter in a clean saucepan.
Step 8
Pour the resulting tomato juice into the melted butter, add the dressing prepared earlier. Cook with the lid open for 30 minutes until thickened. The sauce is ready.
