Goat meat is unusual meat, but when properly processed it turns out to be very tasty. It is low-fat and considered dietary. Due to the fact that goat meat is highly digestible, it can be consumed at any age.
Ingredients:
- 0.8 kg of goat meat;
- 1 onion;
- 1 regular glass of water;
- 25 g tomato paste;
- 5 sprigs of green dill;
- 3-4 bay leaves;
- coarse table salt to taste.
Preparation:
- For this dish, you will need young goat meat (no matter with or without bones, any tenderloin), rinse a piece of 800 g well in cold tap water, divide into pieces convenient for you.
- Peel the onion head from the husk, cut off the tail and root place, cut traditionally into small cubes.
- Heat the cauldron, pour in vegetable or olive oil, when it starts to smoke a little, add chopped onion here. Reduce heat, cook until onion slices are transparent.
- Put portions of goat meat to the onion, stir and simmer for about 5-6 minutes, no longer worth it.
- Pour a glass of plain cold water (250 gram glass) into the cauldron for meat and onions and throw bay leaves.
- Mix the whole consistency in a cauldron well, wait for the liquid to boil, reduce to a low heat, simmer the goat meat in a closed cauldron for 20 minutes, it will be necessary to stir it several times.
- After 20 minutes, add tomato paste (it is better that it does not contain starch), stir and simmer for literally 5 minutes under a closed lid.
- Rinse sprigs of green dill in water, chop finely. Add chopped greens to the meat in the cauldron after 5 minutes and be sure to salt.
- Stir all the ingredients and simmer until the meat is completely cooked, then remove from heat.
