Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 250 g;
  • Tomatoes - 2 pcs;
  • Onion - 1 pc;
  • Fresh garlic - 2 cloves;
  • Bell pepper - 1 pc;
  • Dill and parsley - 1 bunch each;
  • Lemon - 1 pc;
  • Olive oil - 4 tablespoons;
  • Granulated sugar - 2 teaspoons;
  • Curry spice - to taste;
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Gut the head of cabbage, rinse the leaves thoroughly. If necessary, soak in salted water, after which you can crumble into small strips, salt and mash with your hands.
  2. Rinse the bell pepper thoroughly, peel off the seeds, then, like the cabbage, chop it into small strips.
  3. Peel the onion, chop it into thin half rings. Peel the garlic, chop finely with a knife or crush with a garlic.
  4. Pre-soak dill greens in cold salted water, then wash thoroughly again and chop finely.
  5. Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the prepared onion and garlic in it, bring until half cooked, then add chopped bell pepper into the pan.
  6. Add chopped white cabbage to the fried mixture of onions, peppers and garlic.
  7. Wash the tomatoes well, rinse with boiling water, then peel them off and cut them into sections.
  8. Send the tomatoes to the cabbage in the pan, salt the contents, add granulated sugar and curry spice.
  9. Rinse the lemon thoroughly, divide into halves. Squeeze one part of the lemon into the pan while cooking. Along the way, add a little warm water with the juice. Simmer under a closed lid for about 20 minutes over low heat.
  10. Cool the salad before serving, garnish with chopped parsley and dill, put a slice of lemon, sprinkle the salad with juice.
