Chicken paella is a dish from Valencia, it is distinguished by its unusual, rich taste and unique aroma. It is not difficult to prepare it, and you can use not only chicken meat, but also any other meat for its preparation.

It is necessary

  • • 6 pieces of chicken fillet;
  • • 40 g of wheat flour;
  • • 220 g of canned beans;
  • • 2 tablespoons of paprika;
  • • 2 garlic cloves;
  • • 1 teaspoon of rosemary;
  • • 900 ml of chicken broth;
  • • 220 g of canned tomatoes;
  • • 250 g beans (green);
  • • 330 g of rice groats;
  • • 2 medium sized onions;
  • • 1 teaspoon of saffron;
  • • olive oil;
  • • black pepper and salt.

Step 1

The quality of the rice plays a very important role in this dish. Spanish rice is great, but for lack of it, you can take Italian too.

Step 2

Chicken meat should be thoroughly rinsed in running water, dried and cut into small cubes with a sharp knife.

Step 3

Remove the husk from the onion, rinse it in cold water and cut into very small cubes. Remove the husk from the garlic cloves, wash and pass through a garlic press, or finely chop with a knife.

Wash the beans thoroughly and cut them into large enough pieces with a sharp knife.

Step 4

Put a frying pan on low heat and pour olive oil into it. After the oil has heated, the prepared garlic and onion are poured into the pan. They should be fried for a quarter of an hour. As a result, the onion will be soft, but its color will not be golden. Place the onion in a small bowl.

Step 5

Pour oil into the same frying pan again, and turn the heat to medium. Then chopped chicken is poured into it and fried with regular stirring for a quarter of an hour. As a result, a golden crust should form on the meat pieces.

Step 6

After that, prepared onions, canned and green beans are poured into the meat. The contents of the pan are fried for 4 minutes.

Step 7

Vegetables with meat must be pushed apart so that an empty middle remains in the pan, pre-chopped tomatoes and paprika are placed there. It is necessary to simmer for 5 minutes, and then mix everything thoroughly and pour the broth. Pepper the paella, season with salt and cook for half an hour.

Step 8

Reduce heat. Spread the pre-washed rice in an even layer, add the rosemary and saffron. With regular stirring, the dish will cook for another quarter of an hour. Paella is ready.
