It is necessary

  • - flour - 450 g;
  • - baking powder for dough - 5 teaspoons;
  • - salt - 1.5 teaspoon;
  • - butter - 110 g;
  • - sugar - 50 g;
  • - apples - 450 g;
  • - milk - 2-3 tablespoons.

Instructions

Step 1

Grind the butter, always chilled, into small cubes. Add a dry mixture of salt, baking powder and flour to it. Mix the resulting mass thoroughly. Thus, it will turn into a small crumb.

Step 2

For fruit, remove the skin and core with the seed box. Divide the apples into 2 equal parts. Cut one of them with a knife into small pieces, chop the other with a grater. For this procedure, it is advisable to use a large one. Add both the first and second parts to the creamy flour mixture. Mix everything as it should. Pour the milk there gradually. The resulting homogeneous mass is the dough. Knead it for a few minutes, then roll it out until it is 1 centimeter thick.

Step 3

Take a cookie cutter and cut out round figures from the dough - future scones. If there are no molds, then do it using any other dish, the main thing is that it has sufficiently sharp edges.

Step 4

Place the figurines on a baking sheet with butter and a little flour. Brush them with milk and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake in this form at a temperature of 200 degrees for 25 minutes. Apple scones are ready!
