Duck recipes are varied. For example, it can be baked, boiled, stewed, supplemented with various side dishes. Duck goes well with apples, prunes, dried apricots, pineapples and rice. By the way, duck with rice is a nutritious and balanced dish.

- small chilled duck;
- 2 cups long grain rice
- 5 tbsp. l. sunflower oil;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 large onion;
- salt;
- ground black pepper;
- paprika.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the chilled gutted duck with cool water. Examine the carcass carefully. If you find unpicked hairs, burn them with a lighter. Wash the duck again and pat dry with a towel. Cut the carcass into portions. Brush them with salt, then place in a large skillet and fry on both sides with sunflower oil. Now place the browned duck pieces into the prepared tall-walled pan. Sprinkle the duck with a pinch of paprika.
Step 2
Wash and peel the carrots. Peel the onion. Chop them finely with a sharp knife, and pour into a skillet with the fat that has melted from the duck. Lightly fry the carrots with onions, add a little salt and ground pepper. Spread the onion and carrot mixture evenly over the duck pieces.
Step 3
Rinse the rice under cold running water using a fine sieve. Pour the washed rice over the duck with fried vegetables and cover with boiled or filtered water so that it covers the rice by 2.5 cm. Add spices again: salt to taste, a little black pepper and paprika.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 240 degrees. Then lower the temperature to 170 degrees, place your dish in the oven and cook for an hour and a half. You will end up with a soft, juicy duck and golden crumbly rice. The guests will be happy and appreciate your efforts.
