What tricks manufacturers do not go to in order to increase the popularity of their products. For example, some time ago there was an advertisement for butter on television. To increase consumer demand, the accompanying text to the commercial stated that the oil of this brand was made "according to old Russian recipes." The manufacturer, to put it mildly, was cunning. Since there are no special recipes for the production of real butter, neither Russian nor any other, do not exist in nature.

All over the world, from time immemorial, oil has been prepared using a single technology. Cow's milk is divided into two fractions - cream (milk fat) and skim milk (return). Currently, a special apparatus is used for these purposes - a separator. With the help of the separator, the separation of cream from milk takes place in a short time, depending on the amount of milk to be processed.

Before the invention of the separator, freshly milked milk was strained, poured into small containers and placed in a cold place for a while. As a result, the milk fat rose up and it was carefully removed with a spoon into another container. The collected cream was kept in the cold for some time, and then they began to beat it with a wooden spatula. In the process of churning, butter was obtained with a slight separation of excess liquid - buttermilk.

If the cream turned sour during storage, then sour cream was obtained. You can also get butter from sour cream by whipping. In any case, the finished oil is washed with ice water to remove the remaining buttermilk so that the oil loses its sour taste.

The plot of an old English fairy tale reads: two frogs fell into a deep crinkle with sour cream. One of the frogs, realizing that it was impossible to get out, did not make any efforts to save herself and drowned. The second frog began to move its legs intensively, as a result of which the sour cream turned into butter. A hardworking frog, jumping on a piece of butter, freely got out of its captivity.

As you can see, the recipe for making butter is simple: separating the cream and then churning it into butter. If the manufacturer of this product starts talking about some special recipes, then his oil is not so real.
