  • Vegetable oil - 140 gr
  • Flour - 500 gr
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • For filling:
  • Beijing Salad - 5 Leaves
  • Rice - 1 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked Adyghe cheese - 250 gr
  • Nori - 4 sheets
  • Sour cream - 200 gr
  • Spices: asafoetida, black salt, coriander

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse 1 cup of rice several times. When the water is clear, place the rice in boiling water. The water should be twice the amount of rice, that is, two glasses. Bring rice to a boil. After that, reduce heat to low, cover the pot tightly and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

Step 2

Cool the rice, salt and season with a spoonful of vegetable or butter. You can add black ground pepper.

Step 3

Then prepare the pie dough. To do this, pour vegetable oil into the water, add salt and stir. Slowly pour the sifted flour into the dough, knead into a soft dough. Sprinkle it with flour and set it aside to rest for 10 minutes.

Prepare the filling. Cut the Adyghe cheese into slices. If you haven't found smoked Adyghe cheese, you can use regular one. But in this case, the taste will not be as bright. Wash and finely chop the Peking salad.

For the sauce, combine sour cream with black salt, asafoetida and ground coriander.

Separate 2/3 of the resulting dough. Roll it out with a rolling pin and place on a greased baking sheet. Preheat oven to 180 C.

Place the filling in succession on a layer of dough. Place the rice first, with the sliced Peking salad on top of it. Then 2 sheets of nori, greased with sour cream on top, and Adyghe cheese. Top with cheese again nori and sour cream sauce. Then again salad and rice.

Step 8

Roll out the rest of the dough. Cover the cake with dough, connect the edges. Poke holes in the cake with a fork. Place the cake in a preheated oven to bake. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Brush the slightly cooled cake with butter and serve. You will be pleasantly surprised! This is delicious!
