Usually beans, beef and red broth are associated with dishes like borscht. But today we will talk about something else. Sometimes you want to move away from traditional dishes by cooking something unusual. We will prepare a Mexican soup that does not contain beets and is infused with tomatoes and various spices. We will understand all the intricacies of cooking this interesting dish.
It is necessary
- chilli;
- garlic and bay leaf;
- vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons;
- canned beans - 250 g;
- bulgarian pepper - 1 pc;
- tomato juice - 0.5 l;
- large tomatoes - 4 pcs;
- carrots - 1 pc;
- onion - 1 pc;
- beef - 600 g.
Instructions
Step 1
To prepare Mexican soup properly, fry the onions in a skillet using vegetable oil. Then add the grated carrots to the onion. Finely chop the peppers, chop the tomatoes and send to the carrots and onions.
Step 2
Let's start making beef broth. Since the soup is Mexican, you shouldn't skimp on spices. Pour stewed vegetables into the broth, pour in tomato juice, let it cook for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Throw the beans into our broth. Ready-made canned food is best for Mexican soup - there will be less hassle. If you are going to use it raw, soak it overnight in cool water.
Step 4
At the end of the Mexican soup broth, add chopped garlic and any other spices you like. After 10 minutes, you can remove our Mexican soup from the stove.
Step 5
Note that boiled beef is used in this recipe, but the Mexican soup will do just fine without it. You can modify the recipe and make a piece of minced meat from the meat, fry it with tomatoes, garlic, chili and add this mixture to the broth. You can serve this food as an independent dish, spicy lovers will be delighted.
