If you have extra kefir and fruit at home, then you can prepare a manna. Mannik is a very easy to prepare, but at the same time very tasty cake. Despite the fact that it contains semolina, it will appeal even to those who hate it. I love making this pie for breakfast, and on weekends you can easily and quickly please your family with delicious pastries. Well, it is most delicious to cook it with fruit, which makes it even sweeter and more tender. You can add any other filling, such as raisins or nuts.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- a glass of kefir
- a glass of semolina
- a glass of sugar
- a glass of flour
- 2 eggs
- 100 g butter
- h. spoon of vanillin
- h. spoon baking powder
- sunflower oil for greasing the mold
- For filling:
- one large pear
- 2 tbsp. spoons of honey
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the dough for the manna. Pour kefir into a deep bowl and add semolina. Stir and leave for one hour to swell the semolina. Meanwhile, we take butter at room temperature, put it in a separate container and rub thoroughly with sugar, add eggs and mix everything until smooth. When our semolina has swollen for an hour, mix it with the egg mass, sift the flour and baking powder, add to the dough, mix gently, and also add vanillin. The dough is ready.
Step 2
For the filling, take a pear and cut it into thin slices.
We prepare a form for manna, grease with sunflower oil. I took a round shape with removable sides, 24-26 cm in diameter.
Step 3
Next, we divide our dough into two parts. Pour the first part of the dough into the mold and lay out the pear, pour the second part of the dough on top. We bake manna in a preheated oven to 200 degrees. The time depends on the oven, about 30-40 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a splinter. Cool the finished manna and only then remove it from the mold, put it on a dish and pour it over with honey.
