Step 1

Start your meal by roasting vegetables. Peel vegetables. Chop the onions smaller, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Save everything in vegetable oil.

Step 2

Place the frozen dumplings in a baking dish. You can wait a little while they defrost, but also do not allow the dough to dry out. Place the vegetables on top of the dumplings in the form, which should be evenly fried. Make a sauce of sour cream and mayonnaise, salt, water. To do this, mix sour cream with mayonnaise, gradually add water to the mixture. The sauce should be slightly thicker in consistency than kefir.

Pour the cooked sauce over the dumplings so that it almost completely covers them. Sprinkle everything on top with any seasoning to taste. Place the dumplings in a preheated oven - they will bake for about one hour. Close the mold more tightly with foil so that all the contents are stewed out evenly.

Step 4

Remove the foil after an hour. Check to what extent the dumplings are cooked in the middle of the mold. The dough sometimes remains moist in the middle. If this works out for you, add another half glass of water, re-cover everything with foil and return to the oven. Leave the dumplings there for another 10-15 minutes to bring them to readiness.

Step 5

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Sprinkle the dumplings on them. Optionally, you can cut the cheese into thin slices and place on top of the dumplings. If you like processed cheese more than hard varieties, it is better to grate it on a medium grater - when grated on a coarse grater, it will crumble. Let the dumplings sit in the oven for about five more minutes, until the cheese melts. Serve the ready-made dumplings hot, with the addition of sauce, fresh vegetable salad, you can sprinkle them with herbs.
