Bonn soup is a real miracle of dietary cooking. This dish helps you lose weight without losing vitamins and significantly increasing the feeling of hunger. In addition, the perfect combination of ingredients gives the soup a truly magical fat-burning property.
The classic Bonn soup recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 head of white cabbage;
- 6 onions;
- 3 tomatoes;
- 2 carrots;
- 2 bell peppers;
- 1 bunch of celery stalks;
- 2 liters of water;
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice;
- 0.5-1 tsp granulated garlic;
- 1/3 tsp each curry and black pepper;
- 1 small bunch of parsley, green onions, cilantro, celery, or dill.
Wash all vegetables and place on a paper towel to dry. Cut the cabbage head in half, cut the stalk and chop the leaves as thin as possible. Remove the stalk and seeds from the bell peppers, cut the rhizome from the celery, peel the bulbs, carrots and tomatoes. Cut these vegetables into pieces and cubes approximately 1-1.5 cm wide and arrange in different containers.
Pour water into a large saucepan and place over high heat. Bring the liquid to a boil, toss the carrots into it, and reduce the temperature to medium. After 5 minutes, add the onion, cabbage and celery into the bubbling broth. Cook Bonn soup for 10 minutes, then dip the peppers and tomatoes in it and cook for another 10 minutes.
Put the spices in a saucepan, pour in the lemon juice and stir everything well. Remove the cookware from the stove, close the lid and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Pour a handful of chopped herbs into a bowl of soup just before serving.
For 7 days of the Bonn soup diet, you can lose up to 5 kg. Just eat it when you feel hungry, without any restrictions. If you want to repeat the fasting week, first take a 2-3-day break.
