Put the water to boil in a saucepan. Go through the sorrel leaves, rinse well and chop finely. Peel and chop potatoes and carrots, place in salted boiling water. 5-10 minutes after boiling again, put chopped sorrel into a saucepan and cook until all vegetables are cooked (5-10 minutes). Add 1-2 bay leaves last.
Step 2
Hard boil the eggs. Finely chop the herbs that are on hand. For sorrel soup, parsley, dill, cilantro, green onion feathers, and garlic feathers work well.
Step 3
Chop the boiled and chilled eggs, mix with chopped herbs and place on bowls. Pour the sorrel soup on top of this mixture. Pepper to taste and add sour cream, preferably low-fat.
