You can make dumplings with various fillings: cottage cheese, potatoes, cherries, mushrooms, cabbage. In the spring-summer period, it is worth making this dish filled with sorrel, which will add a peculiar sourness to the dumplings. However, if you wish, you can always “muffle” it with sugar.

- - 2 tbsp. l. Sahara.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a dumpling dough. To do this, sift flour. Add an egg, vegetable oil and ¼ cup boiling water to it. Mix everything and knead the dough. It should come out pretty cool.
Step 2
Wrap the resulting dough in plastic wrap and place in a warm place. The dough should "ripen".
Step 3
Prepare the filling for the dumplings. To do this, slice the sorrel. You can just break it into small pieces.
Step 4
Heat butter in a skillet, add sorrel and simmer for 3 minutes. Add sugar, mix everything and cool the filling.
Step 5
Roll out the dough into thin small cakes. Place some sorrel filling in the middle and seal the edges.
Step 6
Bring the water in a saucepan to a boil, place the dumplings in it, and cook until they come to the surface. You can add a little salt to the water after it boils.
Step 7
Serve the cooked sorrel dumplings with sour cream. Condensed milk or liquid honey is also suitable as an addition to this dish. The calorie content of the dumplings themselves is not too high. They will ideally fit into the diet of people who are losing weight, if not flavored with sweet foods.
