  • - 1 teaspoon of sugar;
  • - 3-4 cloves of garlic;
  • - 100 grams of hard cheese;
  • - spices - oregano and basil;
  • - ground white pepper;
  • - sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

All onions must be thoroughly washed, peeled and cut into small rings. It is recommended to use white onions. It will soften during the cooking process and, unlike red, will hardly be felt in the soup.

Step 2

Next, the butter is cut into pieces and placed in a saucepan with a thick bottom. Onion, finely chopped garlic and sugar are sent to the oil. The whole mass should first be lightly fried, and then simmer for about 15 minutes over low heat.

Until this moment, the hostess may be confused by the strong onion aroma, but it will disappear instantly after adding the wine. Just now, you can add flour, dry white wine and broth to the onion. Pour the liquid into the pot slowly and carefully. Further, a pinch of white pepper, basil, oregano and salt are added to the future soup.

The dish is cooked over low heat for about 30-40 minutes. After the expiration of the specified period, the soup must be poured into portioned pots, sprinkled with hard cheese grated on a coarse grater and sent to the oven for a couple of minutes.
