It is necessary

  • - ready-made puff pastry - 500 g;
  • - pickled cucumbers - 6-7 pcs.;
  • - eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - egg yolk - 1 pc.;
  • - salt;
  • - ground black pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, remove the finished puff pastry from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator compartment. There it should melt naturally.

Step 2

For pickles, do this: chop them on a medium-sized grater. Put the resulting mass in a colander. Thus, all excess liquid, which is absolutely unnecessary, will drain from it.

Step 3

Peel two onions, then chop finely with a knife. Place it in a hot skillet with sunflower oil and fry until golden brown.

Step 4

Cool boiled hard-boiled eggs, remove the shell from their surface and chop, cutting into small enough cubes.

Step 5

In an empty cup, mix the following in it: mashed pickles, sautéed onions, and diced boiled eggs. Mix everything properly. Season the resulting mass with salt and pepper to your liking. When adding salt, keep in mind that you need very little of it.

Step 6

Remove the defrosted puff pastry from the refrigerator and two-thirds of it, having previously rolled it into a layer, place it in a baking dish. Do not forget to form sides along the edge of the future cake. Then put the resulting cucumber filling on the dough.

Step 7

Roll out the remaining dough to a layer of the desired size and cover the filling with it. Having pinched the edges, grease the surface of the future cake with whipped egg yolk, then send it to the oven to bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Step 8

Remove the finished baked goods from the oven. Pickled cucumber pie is ready!
