Penne is a type of pasta whose diameter varies from 10 mm to 40. Italians are very fond of penne rigate, as these pasta are able to keep the sauce inside. Penne rigate is combined with different sauces, they are well suited for cooking casseroles, cold and warm salads, they make a delicious pasta.

It is necessary

  • For three servings:
  • - 250 g pork tenderloin;
  • - 250 g penne rigate;
  • - 500 ml tomato puree;
  • - 6 cherry tomatoes;
  • - 1 onion;
  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
  • - 1 red chili;
  • - a bunch of green basil;
  • - pepper, salt, green onions.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut pork tenderloin into thin slices and sauté in olive oil.

Step 2

Add red onion, cut into half rings, chopped chili peppers, basil, halves of cherry tomatoes to the meat. Cook for 3 minutes.

Step 3

Add tomato puree or chopped tomatoes (you can buy ready-made tomato puree), salt, simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Boil penne rigate in salted water until al dente.

Step 5

Drain the water from the pasta, add them to the tomato sauce, and leave for a minute.

Step 6

Place dish on a plate, sprinkle with grated Parmesan, garnish with green onion feathers, serve hot.
