Ingredients:

  • Onions - 1 head;
  • Eggs for omelette - 6 pcs;
  • A can of canned white beans;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • A can of canned corn;
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon;
  • Raw smoked brisket - 200 g;
  • Cream - 200 g (20% fat);
  • Hard cheese - 50 g;
  • Salt, black pepper;
  • Large baguette - 1 piece;
  • Hot sauce (of your choice) - 4 tablespoons

Preparation:

  1. Open jars of canned white beans and sweet corn, transfer contents to a sieve or colander, and rinse with warm running water. Corn and beans should get rid of their preservative.
  2. Grate the hard cheese on a small grater (so that the cheese will melt easier later). Parmesan cheese is best suited for the dish, if possible, buy it.
  3. Then peel the onion and cut into very thin half rings.
  4. Then take the raw smoked brisket and chop it into thin strips.
  5. The next step is to take the eggs and beat them with grated cheese and not very heavy cream. Season the mixture with salt and pepper as desired.
  6. Now take a frying pan with a diameter of about 25 centimeters. Heat vegetable with butter in a frying pan. Fry the onion and brisket there for about 4 minutes.
  7. Now add the egg mixture to the onion and brisket and cook for another 3 minutes. Put corn and beans in the omelet. Reduce heat to very low and cook uncovered for 15 minutes. Remove the omelet from heat and cover. Let the omelet cool down.
  8. Cut a long baguette in half lengthwise, coat the halves with hot sauce.
  9. The omelet, which had time to cool, cut into pieces, put on a half of the baguette, completely covering it, cover the filling with the other half and squeeze a little. Wrap the result in plastic wrap and leave for a little bit in the refrigerator.
